An open house for the new Johnston Public Safety Building is planned for Saturday, August 9th from 10 AM to 2 PM. The new 46,000 square foot Public Safety Building will house both the Johnston Police Department and Station 39 for the Johnston Fire Department. The facility is designed to serve the city’s public safety needs for the next 20 years and beyond. Located at 6373 Merle Hay Road, the building is just two blocks north of City Hall and four blocks south of the Johnston Library.
