New MidAmerican Energy Substation Proposed

MidAmericanSubstation1MidAmerican Energy Company has proposed the purchase of an electric transmission line easement across 5.35 acres of the Beaver Creek Natural Resource Area. The proposed new substation would be located south of DuPont Pioneer’s South Drive and west of Pioneer Parkway. The Johnston City Council has scheduled a public hearing for October 19, 2015.
