At their meeting on June 29, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered and approved the architectural elevations for a VW building addition planned by Lithia. The project will add 2,300 square feet to the existing north building. The property is located west of Merle Hay Road in the south Merle Hay Road Corridor Gateway.
The site plan for the addition was approved by the City Council in October of 2013, however, architectural elevations were not available for this part of the project at the time of approval. At the time, the site plan approval was conditioned on the subsequent review and approval of those elevations prior to issuance of a building permit.
