The Johnston Planning & Zoning Commission considered and approved the site plan, preliminary plat, and final plat for the Johnston Town Center development at their meeting on September 30, 2019.
UPDATE – October 8, 2019 – The Johnston City Council also approved the site plan, preliminary plat, and final plat for the Johnston Town Center development at their meeting on October 7, 2019. Additionally, the City has now acquired one additional property for the Town Center project. The property is located at 5650 NW 63rd Pl. and represents a 1/3rd acre lot on the north portion of the City’s Town Center redevelopment area.
The development includes approximately 16.5 acres subdivided into 9 lots, 1 outlot, and 4 right-of-way parcels. The development also includes the common shared amenities for the Johnston Town Center, a park/trail head, development of a new city hall building, and a structure to house mechanical equipment for shared common amenities.
