One of the privileges of serving as the Director of the Johnston Economic Development Corporation is the opportunity to be associated with people and organizations who give back to the community in so many ways. The Governor’s Luncheon for Scouting was held on February 3 – benefiting both the Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts of central Iowa. There were many JEDCO members and friends in attendance. Allow me to give a shout out to some of the participants: Jason Kerndt and Jeff Harder from Vision Bank, Brian Erickson with Knapp Properties, Kurt Mumm with NAI Optimum, and John Irving representing Baker Electric. I’m sure there are several we missed among the large group in attendance. But to all JEDCO members – thank you for what you do for our communities. It is greatly appreciated.
