The site plan and development agreement for the proposed Edencrest Assisted Living facility has been approved by the Johnston City Council. The proposed facility will have approximately 64 assisted living units with 72 beds.
Under the development agreement only the following uses within the R-3 Medium Density Multiple Family Residential District will be permitted:
- Group Care Facility (nine or more individuals)
- Nursing and Convalescent Home
- Assisted Living Facility
- Other uses that are consistent by type of use, use intensity, physical characteristics, style, size, and purpose with the uses listed above.
